Tone

This is going to be short, however leaders we HAVE to watch our email tones!  When we email someone on our team and they reply with they don’t have that info, replying back with “You have to supply it” doesn’t make them have it.

I know we are busy, and I know we are stressed, however let’s take a minute and read it how it might be heard.  Then think about it, can it be written in a different way? I am super guilty of this, and there are times when I have to write an email and NOT send it.

So today take a minute and read your emails, when you are working with volunteers – take a minute, they are VOLUNTEERS which means they can walk away… we don’t want that, we want them to have a good experience with this!  So read your emails, I promise it will result in a better experience for everyone!!
